Paid-up Membership Luncheon

On November 7, 2004, we had a most delightful Sisterhood Paid-up Membership luncheon. Members of both Shaare Tikvah and Nevey Shalom attended and enjoyed a delicious lunch of salad, eggplant parmesan, and spaghetti with sauce. All of this was accompanied by our favorite, garlic bread. As always, when members of Sisterhood get together, the conversation was constant and quite satisfying.

After lunch, we were invited to come back to the social hall and watch the most intricate, wonderful, and enthusiastic Israeli dancing we've seen in a long time. The troupe, consisting of nine high school girls, was such a pleasure to watch. They had a change of costume three times during the performance. Add to this the girls' smiling faces and it adds up to a perfect performance. Then, while everyone was in a good mood, the audience was asked to take part in a dance or two. Quite a few hearty souls took part and enjoyed it thoroughly. Then the dancers joined us in the Zamosky room for ice cream, cookies, and fresh fruit.
