Shabbat Shira Party

On Sunday, April 13, 2003, Shaare Tikvah held its annual Shabbat Shira Party at the home of Shirley and Howard Levin. Nevey Shalom members Cindy and Mort Dubinsky and Theda Rosenblum were fortunate enough to attend.

The food was endless and delicious. The hosts were wonderful and created a welcoming, as well as a "let's celebrate", environment. Shula Resnick's parents, Michael and Fanny Leinwand, attended. Michael played the piano and the rest of the group sang Hebrew and Yiddish songs. Seeing the enthusiasm, love, and joy with which the group participated, warmed our hearts, and made us feel very proud to be Jewish, and most grateful to be a part of this day.

Next year (God willing), we will be watching for this Shabbat Shira Party and marking it down on our calendars. Everyone is invited, and if you want to have a joyous experience, you may decide to be a part of these festivities, and join us.
